Dr Verena Raschke-Cheema PhD, MSc. is a dedicated foodie and an integrated health practitioner. Passionate about helping others eat in a sustainable way that delights the senses, Verena empowers others to step into their best selves, and embodies this message in all aspects of her life.

With a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Vienna, Verena is an accomplished academic, with a focus on traditional food cultures around the world. Her internationally-published research works, The Health Benefits of Traditional Food Habits and The Colonial and Neo-colonial Forces Underpinning the 'Nutrition Transition’ are frequently presented at major conferences, and are included in the curriculum of leading universities worldwide.

For over a decade, Verena has worked in her thriving private practice as a nutritional medicine and integrative health practitioner. Committed to a truly holistic approach to health, she has extended her knowledge beyond the traditional sciences. Her clinical approach brings together multiple perspectives including scientific principles and methodical dedication, evidence-based practices from the west, and aspects of traditional healing modalities from Ayurveda and Chinese medicine. She is qualified in Neuro-Training Kinesiology and remains a registered professional member.

Verena lives on the South Coast of NSW, Australia with her husband Bobby and two sons. She travels regularly for engagements as a keynote speaker, retreat facilitator, and holistic health and wellbeing advocate.
