Tamari Seeds

Ingredients
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds
1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
1/2 tablespoon organic Tamari (fermented soy sauce), available in health food isles in supermarkets or health food stores.
Method
Heat a cast iron pan. When hot add all the seeds and stir until golden brown. Drizzle the teaspoon of Tamari evenly over the seeds and stir them well until the Tamari is soaked up by the seeds. Transfer into a glass jar or air tight container. Allow to cool down and store in the fridge for up to a month.
Variation: Dry roast the seeds without adding Tamari and enjoy their nutty aroma. You could even alternate each week to add a variety of flavor into your diet.
