Ingredients for Stove-Top Ingredients for Oven Method
70g of organic butter, ghee or coconut oil, melted
5 cups of wheat free, organic oats
2 cups (245g) of sunflower seeds
1 cup activated buckwheat
1 cup of pumpkin seeds
2 cups of nuts, chopped
1 cup of natural coconut flakes
1 ½ cup of raisins or sultanas
½ cup of goji berries
½ cup of chia seeds
½ cup of raw honey
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
2 egg whites
70g of organic butter, ghee or coconut oil, melted
5 cups of wheat free, organic oats
2 cups (245g) of sunflower seeds
1 cup activated buckwheat
1 cup of pumpkin seeds
2 cups of nuts, chopped
1 cup of natural coconut flakes
1 ½ cup of raisins or sultanas

½ cup of chia seeds
½ cup of raw honey
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
Method for Stove Top
In a big wok or frying pan, melt the butter, ghee or coconut oil, then add all the ingredients, except for the dried fruit, honey and cinnamon. Toast for 15 minutes over medium heat while stirring regularly to avoid burning.
Add the dried fruits and toast for a futher 10 minutes. Then add the honey and cinnamon, stir well to coat the granola evenly.
Allow to cool completely, then transfer into a glass jar.
Oven Method
Preheat the oven to 140C.
Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Combine dry ingredients. Combine wet ingredients, excluding egg whites.
Beat the egg whites with a whisk until foamy. Mix wet and dry ingredients in a large bowl and then fold the egg whites through.
Spread granola evenly onto the tray and leave a hole in the middle that is a big as your hand. Bake for 35 minutes without stirring until golden.
Switch off the oven and bake for a futher 10 minutes and leave the oven door slightly ajar to facilitate the cooling process, helping it to firm up.
Once cooled, remove from the oven and break it up before transferring into a glass jar.
