Gomasio

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sesame seeds

  • ½ tablespoon sea salt


Method

Wash and soak the seeds with salt 6-8 hours.

Drain.

Dry-roast seeds in a skillet over medium heat until they have a nutty aroma, are golden brown, and begin to pop.

Grind sesame seeds with mortar and pestle until seeds are half crushed, add salt, mix well.

Store in an air-tight glass jar.
