Almond Milk

Ingredients & Tools

  • 1 cup of almonds

  • Filtered water for soaking (activating)

  • 4 cups of filtered water (for almond milk)

  • 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

  • Nut milk bag


Method

Soak 1 cup of almonds with ¼ teaspoon of salt for 8-12 hours (overnight is the most convenient).

Discard soaking water and wash almonds. Put into a high speed blender or Thermomix.

Add 4 cups of filtered water and ¼ teaspoon of salt.

Blend on highest speed (Thermomix speed 10) for 1 minute.

Filter the almond milk with pulp through the nut milk bag in a bowl and transfer into a glass jar. Store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
